I’m so sorry this happened to you! I applaud the strength and courage it took for you to do this.
I went to HAC and graduated from there. I met my ex-husband there. I endured 27 years of sexual abuse from him. He graduated from HAC with a degree in Pastoral Theology. It took me that long to finally leave him. He filed for divorce against ME. My children are now all grown. My mom believes I have PTSD from my experience. It’s terribly heart breaking. I never thought the man I married would ever hurt me, but he did. From the very night we were married. I was too afraid and embarrassed to say anything for so long. He always said he couldn’t help himself and it was my fault for being so d*** s***. He said I should find that as a compliment. I didn’t.
